In a special attempt on the New Zealand intermediate 100yds boys’ swimming record this evening, Reg Geddes, intermediate champion, lowered the existing record by 4-ssec. AUSTRALIANS AT AUCKLAND AUCKLAND, April 6. The New South. Wales swimmers made their final appearance at Auckland this eveniryg. Results:— 33 l-3yds Scratch Race —N. Crump (Auckland) 1, O. Griffiths (New South Wales) 2, R.’ Thomas (Auckland) 3. Time, 15 3-ssee. 100yds Medley Relay Race —New South Wales 1, Auckland 2. Time, 50 4-ssec. 50yds Auckland Ladies’ Championship —Miss M. Farquhar 1, Misses E. Rainey and S % Grange l(dead heat) 2. Time, 29 3-ssec. The Australians leave for Sydney tomorrow.
