M.C.C.'S NEW ZEALAND TOUR. BATTING AND BOWLING AVERAGES. In the three test matches played in New Zealand, the M.C.C. team scored 1321 a-uns (including 45 extras), and 572 runs were scored against the Englishmen by the New Zealanders. Of the three games, all were drawn. During the 1932-33 Australian and New Zealand tour, the Englishmen scored 11,357 runs (including 458 extras), and had 8564 runs scored against them. They played 25 games, won 10, lost 1, drew 10, and abandoned 4. In his 28 innings throughout the whole tour, R. E. S. Wyatt was bowled 4 times, caught 12 times, lbw 9 times, run out twice, not out once, and was not stumped at all. H- Sutcliffe played 26 innings and was dismissed as follows:—Bowled, 7; caught, 15; lbw, 2; stumped, 1; run out, nil; not out, 1. L. E. G. Ames also played 26 innings, and was dismissed: Bowled, 9; caught, 11; lbw, 1; stumped, 2; a-un out, T; not out, 2. D. R. Jardine's figures for his 25 innings are: Bowled, 5; caught, 12; lbw, 4; stumped, 1; run out, nil; not out, 3. W. R. Hammond had 24 innings, and was bowled six times, caught 11 times, lbw once, stumped twice, run out once, and was not out 3 times. M.C.C. Batting Averages.
