FRENCH WOMAN'S FEAT. KARACHI TO CALCUTTA. (United Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.10 a.m.) CALCUTTA, April 5. Mademoiselle Marisze Hiltz (French airwoman) has arrived at Calcutta, having flown non-stop from Karachi, 1400 miles, in under 12 hours. This feat is without precedent by a woman. Mademoiselle is trying to beat the record ffom Paris to Hanoi (capital of Tongking) and then to Tokio. FRANCE TO BUENOS AIRES. TWO FRENCHMEN SET OUT. PARIS, April 5. A Marseilles message reports tyiat two noted French airmen, M. BossOut'rot and M. Rossi, loft Istres at 6.30 a.m. to-day in.ah attempt to' break Squadron-Leader Gayfoi'd's distance record.(of nearly 6000 miles) by a nonstop flight to Buenos Aires, including a transatlantic hop, via Mr J. A. Mollison's route. The machine has been christened the Joseph Lebrix. It weighs 10 tons, and has a 500 horse-power engine, M. Bossoutrot and M. Rossi are the holders of the world's record flight of G 587 miles in a closed circuit.
