ALLEGED DOLE FRAUDS
M.P. FACES SERIOUS CHARGE. (United Press Association —Copyright.) * VANCOUVER, October 28. A message from. St. John’s, Newfoundland, states that Reland Starkes, opposition member of the Legislature for White Bay, has been arrested on 17 charges of fraud in connection with the distribution of relief to unemployed. The police laid the charge that Starkes fraudulently signed dole receipts during a -period of several months. He as released on bail. /
