PRINCE'S MANY LAWSUITS. SPANISH INEANTE'S DEATH. Prince Antoine-Louis-Philippe-Marie of Orleans, first Duke of Galhera and Infante of Spain, who died on Christmas at the age of Gl, had probably been involved in more lawsuits than any other member of a royal family. In'May, 191.9, he sued Mme. Carmen Elores, Vicomtes.se de" Terneus, for the recovery of a diamond necklace which- he alleged she had stolen. The vicomtesse declared in Court that he gave it to her "in the regular course of events." He . afterwards withdrew the complaint. Their plea'was granted. After this a Paris jeweller unsuccessfully sued the Prince for jewellery which he claimed had been bought, but not P«id for. Another unsuccessful suit against the Prince was that by 13 creditors, who demanded that his jewels and furniture should be sold at auction to pay his debts. The Prince was a grandson of King Louis Philippe, and. married Infante Enlalie of Spain, daughter of Queen Isabella U. He was separated from her.
