TINWALD STOCK MARKET. PRICES AT TO-DAY'S SALE. NO CHANGE IN PRICES. A remarkably short yarding marked the Tinwald stock sale to-day. The quality of the pens was poor for the most part, and prices were an a level with those realised at the last Tinwald sale. Top price for fat ewes went to Mr J. Flannery, of Tinwald, for a pen of eight, which brought 6s 9d. The fat wether market was topped by Mr R. D. Robinson, of Tinwald, for 12, which brought 12s. Id. Another client also realised 12s Id for a: similar number. Mr G. McTague, of Coldstream, secured top price for lambs with a pen of six prime quality sheep, which brought 14s lOd. Prices realised up to mid-day FatTwes—Eight at 5s Id, 9 at 3s Id, 9 at 3s 7d, 10 at 3s 7d, 18 at 2s lOd, 43 at 2s 7d, 8 at 6s Id, 8 at 6s 9d, 17 at 4s Id, 18 at 4s 4d, 4. at 5s 7d, 2 at 4s 10d, 6at 6s 3d, 12 at 5s 4d, 5 at 6s 6d, 5 at 6s Id, 4 at 5s lOd, 1 at 6s, 8 at 5s Id, 10 at 4s lOd, 8 at 3s Id, 10 at 4s 4d, 10 at 3s 4d, 9 at 4s 4d, 13 at Gs 4d. Fat wethers—Twelve at 12s Id, 7 at lis 4d, 4 at 10s 4d, 8 at 10s 7d, 9 at 10s Id. Fat lambs—Three at 14s 4d, 6 at 14s l.Od, 7 at lis 4d, 6 at 13s 4d. Rams were sold as follow:—Eight at Is 9d, 3 at 2s 7d, 8 at Is lOd. AUSTRALIAN WOOL SALE. (Received This Dav, 10.10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. At the wool sale prices were 10 per cent, higher than the closing rates on March 4. Merino combings sold to 16.Jc1, comebacks 15 l d, erossbreds 15|d. BRISBANE, This Day. Sheepskins are in strong demand at 30 to 50 per cent, advance. Pelts are one halfpenny per pound dearer, third wools three-farthings, half wools one penny, three-quarters three-halfpence to twopence. LONDON WOOL SALES. (Received This Day, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON. March 16. At the wool sales, 10,595 bales were offered, including 4918 from New Zealand, approximately 95 per cent, being sold. The offerings of greasy merino were principally super-style. There was an excellent selection of all erossbreds, and strong competition at late rates was maintained. New Zealand disposals included the greasv erossbreds Campbell Gleddhu lid to HUd, Waituku 9HI to BJd, Hakaroa 9Jd to Sid. Bradford is marking time. Quotations are very firm.
