RESEARCH IN HIGH ALTITUDES. (United Press Association—Copyright). BERLIN, March 15. The Junker Aircraft Company is building a special" aeroplane capable of reaching an altitude of 50,000 feet, for the purpose of research on the currents of the upper air. Test nights of from 24,000 to 36,000 , feet will try the effectiveness of theairtight, double-walled cabin io which the crew will operate the machine and sleep, the air pressure being maintained by means of a compressor.
