\ . . HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS’ SPORTS. THE CONCLUDING EYENTSq' The High School girls’ sports were continued after “The Guardian” went to press yesterday. All events went off quickly and the arrangements were a credit to the stall’, who acted as officials. At the conclusion of the sports the girls gave a display of physical drill, eurythmics and folk dancing, which was much appreciated by the large number of parents and visitors present. t The results of the concluding events were:— ' Form Relay—Form Vb. evening meeting held. The Ashburton Amateur -Cycling and Athletic Club hold a successful meeting on the Domain last evening, when three events were run off. Results:— 220 Yards Handicap.—First heat: A. Cookson (12\’ds) 1, K. 0. Nico'll (ovds) 2, G. d’Auvergne (IGyds) 3. Second heat: H. T. AVestop, (3yds) 1, E. H. Truman (7yds) 2., H, Wills (14yds) 3.
