■ United Press Association—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, May 2\ Major-General W* A. Coxen, C. 8., C.M.G., has been appointed Chief of the General Staff of the Australian Armv. He js regarded as the finest Quarter-master-General the Army ever had. He raised and took from Australia to the Great War the Royal Australian Siege Brigade, and during 1918, on the Western Front, he commanded the great aggregation of artillery.
