REPUBLICAN SPIRIT. BITTER ATTACK ON ALFONSO. CTYTL DTSOBEDTENC'E URGED. (United Press Association —Copyright.) MAIDRID, May 1. Going further than Sen or Rafael Guerra, Senor E. Ortega Gasset, (the Republican leader) Bitterly attacked King Alfonso in a speech sit Barcelona, urging a campaign of civil disobedience, including the non-payment of taxes, till the King restores full constitutional government. EXILE WARMLY WELCOMED. MAIDRID, May 1. It is estimated that ten thousand people assembled at the station to greet Senor Unamuna. (formerly Rector of Salamanca University) who was exiled during the Dictatorship. On arrival he addressed a meeting ol Republicans. The crowd cheered wildly, some shouting “Long live Unamuna! Down with Alfonso!” whereupon a bugle sounded and the nolice, mounted and afoot charged with drawn sabres. Twelve were wounded.
