OWNERS’ PROPOSALS REJECTED. 'United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON,, April 11. The Miners’ Executive has unanimously rejected the coalowners’ proposal for a spread-over of hours on a weekly or fortnightly basis, instead of a rigid seven-a.nd-a-half hour day. as provided by the Government’s Coal Mines Bilk It decided to demand that the Coal Bill, in its present form, should become law.
