THE PRINCE OF WALES.
QUESTION OF MARRIAGE. HER MAJESTY'S DESIRES. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.30 a - rn *) , LONDON, April 11. It is understood that the intimate Royal biography, “Her Majesty the Queen,” by Lady Charlotte Cavendish, has not been submitted to her Majesty, therefore the extracts and reference to her sons are transmitted reservedly, but are freely published here. . The authoress states that her Majesty’s influence on the Prince of Males has not yet been great enough to persuade hjs Royal Highness to take a wife. Her Majesty, in common with most of us, would like to see him married with the prospect of a direct heir to the Throne, but efforts so far have proved in vain. On every othe;’ subject but marriage the Prince has implicit faith in his mother’s judgment, and consults her concerning most of his undertakings.
