In the\ Republican primary election at Chicago to. choose the party's nominee for the Federal Senate election, Mrs Ruth MeCormick, whose father and husband have been United States Senators, and who herself is now a: member of Congress, is virtuallv certain of victory over Senator Charles Deneen, who defeated Mrs McCormick's husband six years ago for the same nomination.
Mrs MeCormick :'s carrying Cook County by an indicated plurality ' of above *150,000 votes. She is also leading elsewhere in the State.
