LORD CARNARVON.
COMPENSATION PROPOSED. (United Press Association—Copyright.) CAIRO, April 7. The Chamber of Deputies referred to the Finance Committee a proposal of the Minister for Finance to grant £34,000 to the heirs of the late Lord Carnarvon, for compensation for his expenditure on Tutankhamen’s tomb.
