SIR ISAAC ISAACS MENTIONED. (United Press Association—Copyright.) SYDNEY, April 6. The “Sunday Times” is authoritatively informed that the successor as Governor-General to Lord Stonehaven is Sir Isaac Isaacs, who was recently appointed Chief Justice of the High Court. The newspaper adds: “It has Ion" been ap open secret that the Scullin Government is anxious that the new Governor-General should be an Australian. It has accordingly recommended Sir Isaac Isaacs to the British Government.”
