COUNTY SALES AND PURCHASES,

There was I dragging market for stud rams at the Canterbury A. and P. Association’s ram fair at Addington yesterday, except in the case of English Leieesters, for which there was a keen demand. In other sections passings were numerous. The entries totalled 314, compared with 201 last year. Top price for English Leicester was 80gs for a one-shear sold on behalf of.W. and A. Campion (Highbank). A Border Leicester from the stud of Colonel J, Findlay (Eiffelton) made 22jgs. 111 the Southdowns section 65gs was paid for one ram by J. H. Gngg (Longbeach). Only nine Shropshires were offered, the highest price being 4Ugs for a sale to S. Cox (Lyndhurst).
