KICKED BY A HORSE.
YOUNG MAN'S FATAL INJURIES. (Per Press Association.) THAMES, This Day. Mr William Knox, aged 27. a farm hand at Waitakaruru, was kicked to death by a trotting horse which he was driving near Kopu yesterday. Mr Knox harnessed up a four-year-old trotter, the property of Mr S. Woodrofe, taking it out to exercise. The horse bolted and Mr Knox was thrown forward on its heels, which inflicted terrible injuries to his head and face. Mr Knox was sent to hospital, where he died this morning.
