MANNING OF THE MINES. ANSWERS TO CALL ATABERDARE MEN THREE YEARS IDLE. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10,10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. It is reported that there has been a fair response to the owners' offer to mann the mines. It is-unofficially stated that between 200 and 300 Aberdare miners answered the call for labour at reduced wages. These men cavilled out of their positions three years ago and have been idle since. The ownexs are thus assured of a nucleus of experienced miners for reopening the pits.
