TYPHOON IN JAPAN.
MANY CASUALTIES FEARED. SEVERE DAMAGE ON LAND. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.35 a.m.) TOKTO, March 13. An unseasonable typhoon caused severe damage in Shimonoseki Straits. It smashed many houses, railways, telegraphs and lighting installations. It also interrupted coastal shipping. Fishermen were caught in the absence of any warning. Many casualties are feared.
