FUTURE OF AVIATION.
AN AUSTRALIAN FORECAST. (United Press Association—Copyright.) SYDNEY, March 7. Colonel Brinsmead (Director of Civil Aviation) forecasted that in a few years Australia would probably see, in commercial services, giant air machines of the Dornier type, with a wingspan of 150 feet, and of great capacity. In four years' time there would be services to India, to South Africa, and probably to Australia from Europe, with machines carrying from 60 to 80 passengers.
