SMALLPOX SCARE.
AORANGI'S PATIENT IMPROVING. AUCKLAND, March 7. Only three passengers who arrived at Auckland from Vancouver by the Aorangi a fortnight ago remain in quarantine at Motuilii Island. They are the young" lady, who contracted smallpox on the voyage, and who continue! to make satisfactory nrogress, and her parents, who are waiting with her until she has completed convalescence, and can be discharged. Five passengers were brought from the island to-day. PASSENGERS AT SYDNEY. \ SYDNEY, March 7. The Aorangi's passengers will all be liberated from quarantine on Sunday morning.
