HIGH COMMISSIONER.
AN EARLY ANNOUNCEMENT. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 10. Questioned regarding the appointment of a successor to Sir James Parr, New Zealand High Commissioner in London, the Prime Minister stated that he was unable to name the successor at present, though he will do so before the session opens. He declined to be drawn regarding the possibility of the Hon. T. M. Wilford (Minister of Defence) being given this position, but information from other sources suggests that Mr Wilford is not anxious at present to change his responsibilities.
