ENTERTAINMENTS.

MAJESTIC THEATRE. “The Student Prince” is one of the best musical comedies staged, and the producers of the screen version, which will be shown at the Majestic Theatre to-night and to-morrow night, by their art and talents, have caught all the brightness that has made this particular musical comedy famous. What the sparkling music is to the 'ears, the story on the screen is to the eyes. Those who see it are carried along with the plot, from the thronging of the rabblement in Karlsburg to see the little heir-apparent go by, to the days when he says a passionate “Good-bye to Kathie, "the inn-keeper’s niece, and drives through the streets in the pomp of majesty, but with an aching heart. Ramon Novarro and Norma. Shearer have the mincipal parts. The charming melodies of the musical comedy are | principal features of the programme, haring been arranged by Madame Cadzow.

CRICKETERS’ DANCE. There was a good attendance at the Orange Hall on Saturday evening, when the St. Stephen’s Cricket Club held another of its series of dances. Music was played by Mrs Mitchell’s jazz band.
