BOGUS CASH ORDERS.
HOLIDAY FRAUDS IN PERTH. (United Press Association —Copyright). PERTH, December 29. Large frauds have been perpetrated on Perth shopkeepers during the holidays by means of bogus cash orders purporting to be issued by the Public Works Department. Small purchases were made and occasionally a large amount of cash change received. It is estimated that at least £I2OO wias fraudulently obtained.—Australian Press Association.
