65 POINTS OF RAIN. Light rain fell at intervals during last night and at nine o’clock this morning 65 points were recorded for the last 24 hours, making a t-otal of 5.93 inches for December to date. Ihe faint appearance of tlie sun about nine o’clock was the signal for the rain to cease and conditions immediately improved. By eleven o’clock the sun was shining brightly and patches of blue sky appeared. Pleasant conditions were experienced throughout the remainder of the day. The reading of the barometer at nine o’clock this morning was 29.56, compared with 29.91 yesterday. The maximum and minimum temperatures yesterday were 64 and 58 degrees compared with 62 and 52 on Thursday.
67 POINTS AT EIFFELTON. A total of 67 points rain fell at Eiffelton yesterday. The atmosphere was muggy, and rain fell steadily throughout the day, making conditions unoleasant. The sky cleared this morning, and the appearance of the sun made the atmosphere warm.
