CANTERBURY TOURNAMENT. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Despite the inclement weather, some matches in the Canterbury Croquet Association’s annual tournament were played yesterday. A surprise was the defeat in the final of the Izard Memorial of A. G. F. Ross and Mrs ry ers The finals resulted: Izard Memorial.—The Misses Evans beat Mrs Tyers and A. G. F. Ross, 2623. B Championship.—Mrs Rinaldi beat Mrs Col will, 26-14. B Handicap Singles.—Mrs Freeman beat Mrs Cowper, 26-19.
