BOXING.
McINNES DEFEATS McDONALD. AUCKLAND, December 27. A returni professional boxing contest between Tommy Mclnnes (Scotland) and Lackie McDonald (Dunedin) tonight was won by Mclnnes on points at the end of the full 15 rounds. It was one of the finest bouts ever seen in Auckland and drew a crowded house who cheered the contestants. The pace from the start was terrific, McDonald tiring the quicker of the two. but he came again in the last round with a wonderful burst, after being groggy for the two preceding rounds.
