CHEERS FRIGHTEN HIS HORSE. INCIDENT AT A HUNT. (United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Day, 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, December 26. Good horsemanship saved the Piince of Wales from being thrown from his horse at Melton Mowbray. When the Prince appeared at the Oakham Hunt, the cheering of 2000 people frightened his mount, which reared and plunged. The Prince was able to control the animal only with difficulty. When his horse grew quieter he raised his hat in response to the cheers. After the hunt he proceeded to nis Nottingham farm. —Australian Press Association.
