The Easter meeting of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club was concluded at Addington on Saturday, after a postponement from Wednesday, when the track was unfit for racing, on, as a result of heavy rain. • As was to be expected, with such favourable conditions, speculation was brisk. The investments totalled £45,812, compared with £38,409 on the concluding day last year. The amount handled for the meeting was £86,536 10s, a substantial increase on last year's figures, £84,428 10s, in spite of a big drop on the opening day.
