HOCKEY.
FORMATION OF MEN'S CLUB. At a meeting of hockey enthusiasts held last evening, it was decided to form a Men's Hockey Club. Mr S. H. Truman was in the chair. The following officers were elected: — Secretary and treasurer, Mr A. G. McHardy; 'committee, Messrs H. Taylor, H. Pearce, J. Wylie, and R. McGregor. The committee and the chairman were elected to draw up rules and regulations. The secretary was instructed to approach the Sports Association with the view, of obtaining a ground.. It was decided to hold the opening day on April 21. It was reported that Baring Square, Methven and Lauriston would probably be entering teams.
