The track was again in excellent order, and the attendance large. Results:— Hurdles—3 Red Heather (E. Mackie> 1, 5 Scion 2,2 Beauty Light 3. Alt started. AVon by two lengths, four lengths between second and thirdTime, 2.46. Shorts—2 Karitane (S. Wilson) 1, 1 Tardy 2, 6 Phastar 3. Scr: Bowline, Clarenson, Heather Doon, Little Duchess, Stringbow, Glass Jug, RadiantKnight. Won by half a length, threequarters of a length between- second and third. Time, 1.16 2-5.
Buckley Memorial—l King Balboa (L. J. Ellis) 1, 3 Overhaul 2, 4 Heather Lad 3. Scr: Brightliog. Won by a neck each way. Time, 1.40 4-5. Western Trot—3 Streak (Rowlands) 1,.4 Needles 2, 9 Drake 3. Scr: Return Voyage. Won by a length, half a length between seeccrd and third. Time, 3.38 4-5. WELLINGTON TROTTING CLUB. WELLINGTON, Tliis Day. The weather was 'ine but overcast, for the trotting at Ksitt Park to-day. Results:— * Petone Maiden Handicap—Tative Hero 1, Free 11 'Advice 2, His Lordship 3. All started. Won bv six lengths.
