MID-CANTERBURY TITLES.
CHAMPIONSHIP CONTINUES.
HANDICAPS ALSO PLAYED. The Mid-Canterbury Lawn Tennis Sub-Association’s Christmas Tournament was continued to-day, when championship A - grade handicap matches were played on the Ashburton courts, and B-grade matches on the Allenton courts. Despite the recent heavy rams, the courts were in good condition. Play commenced shortly after 8 o’clock and matches in the A-grade, handicaps were advanced promptly. r The tournament will be continued to-morrow. Results are as follow:
