CLEARING SALE AT ASHBURTON FORKS.
The National Mortgage and Agency - Co. held a successful clearing sale on ..account- of Mr W. Buchan, junior, of Ashburton Forks yesterday. There was a large attendance, and bidding was keen, all offerings bringing full market rates:— Sheet}} —278 2-tooth ewes 32s 3d, 198 6 and 8-tooth 25s 9d, 198 6 and 8-tooth i27s Id, 131 4-tooth ewes 35s Sd, 147 4-tooth ewes 345, 148 f. and f.m. ewes ; Bs, 136 do. 16s, 102 2-tooth £-bred wethers 23s 9d, 109 2-tooth £-bred do. 25s lOd, 64 m.s. lambs 18s 6d.
