The Cabinet has decided that tho Arbitration Act Amendment Kill, providing for preference to unionists in all industries, which was recently drastically amended by tho 'Legislative Council, shall be returned to that Chamber in its old l'oiin and passed with tho additional votes of tho new appointees. The Cabinet decided to dissolve tho municipal and shire councils throughout the State toward .the end of 1926, and to hold elections on the adult franchise. The principle of the .-Bill to introduce the adult franchise, rejected by the Legislative Council some • time ago, will be re-introduced during the present session.
