RUGBY FOOTBALL. THE INTER-ISLAND MATCH. FIVE ALL AT HALF-TIME. • INVERCARGILL, This Day. The score in the Inter-Island Rugby match at half-time was*. North Island 5 South Island 5 TO-DA\'S MATCHES. There is a fair attendance at the Showgrounds to-day, on the occasion of the continuation of the County Rugby competitions. The weather conditions are dull, and the ground is somewhat greasy after the recent rain. Th« onlv senior match on this ground is between Ash burton and Methven.
