THREE PEOPLE HURT.

OAR ANO LORRY COLLIDE. OVERTURNED SEVERAL TIMES. MAN'S SKULL FRACTURED. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A collision occurred at Epsom between a lorry driven by Mr J;-mes Anderson and a five-seater car driven by Mr Arthur Hughes. The car overturned several times. The lorry fell on to its side and its load of cases of goods was scattered in all directions. Three occupants of the car—Mrs Christina Thorpe, his daughter, Ruth. aged 2i years, and Ernest J. Hollobin, aged 34, were taken to hospital. The latter sustained a fracture of the skull, lhe extent of Mrs Thorpe's injuries have not been ascertained, pending an X-ray examination. The child suffered abrasions of the limbs. The car is a total wreck.
