"813" AND MYSTERY. In "813" the feature picture showing finally at His Majesty's Theatre to-night, is to be found the most baffling mystery story ever screened. None can tell tho solution until the end of this splendidly sustained drama which which is full of thrills and love interests. Arsene Lupin is regarded the world over as the most clever criminal in fiction and "813" is one of the very best productions of the pen of his creator, Maurice Leblanc. Tho biggest scene in "The Tornado," Universal-Jewel, coming to His Majesty's on Monday and Tuesday evenings depicts the star, House Peters, struggling with superhuman determination to break a gigantic log jam that tln-eatens by damming up the river to cause vhe destruction of a # little settlement. In order to obtain the logs and the river together it was neoessarv for tho company to go on location" in Idaho, along the St. Joe river. The result is 6aid to be one of the most stupendous scenes ever shown on a screen. "The Tornado" tells the story of a man who seeks to lose his identitv and heal the wounds of his heart by terrific toil in the North Woods. His great strength and forceful temper cause him to be known as "Tornado." There comes the time when he meets the woman he believed unfaithful and at the same time comes the storm that threatens death and destruction to a little settlement of loggers and their families unless the log jam is broken. "Tornado" breaks the jam and is swept away, apparently to his death, but fate saves him, and out of the turmoil he staggers against the ruins of a bridge which has collapsed carrying into the river the tram on which the woman and her husband had fled. "Tornado*" saves the woman after a terrible struggle. There are good supporting pictures.
