LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS
THE OFFICIAL COUNT. POWER BOARD AND HOLIDAY. The official count of the votes cast in the local body elections in Ashburton on Wednesday, by the Returning Officer (Mr W. Patterson), is neanng completion. Yesterday the Power Board and weekly half-holiday votes wore counted. In the latter issue, Thursday lost one vote from the number previously announced, and Saturday gained on».
