MAORI LAD BURNT TO DEATH
EXPLOSION OF BENZINE. (Per Press Association.) NAPIER, March 12. Two Maori lads went into a cart-shed at to have a smoke, lighting a candle for the purpose. The candle fell on to a tin of benzine. A fire resulted tbo shed bursting into flames. One lad, Jack Wano, was burnt to death, whilst the other was seriously burnt.
