TIMARU TROTTING CLUE. (Per Press Association.) TIMARU, This Day. The Timaru Trotting Club’s meeting opened to-day in windy weather, with the tracks in excellent order. There was a good attendance. Results:—
Kingsdown Handicap—Corwar 1, Don Massey 2, Gold Digger 3. All started. Won by eight lengths. Time, 4.3.
Trial Handicap-—Yoicks 1, Morganza R. 2, Surfboard 3. Scr—First Imperial, Bridget Lynn, Kossolian, Tredenham, Appleshaw, Oboe M. Wilks. Won byten lengths. Time, 3.54 1-5.
Cup—Partner 1, Dalhaliine 2, Event 3. All started. Won by half a length. Time, 4.36.
Sea-down Handicap—Big Bill 1, Harold Dillon 2, Reta. 3. Scr—Great Form and Firelight. Won by a- length. Time, 3.49 l-o.
Temuka Handicap—Lazarus 1, Bingenette 2, Wild Hebe 3. All started Won by three- lengths'. Time, 4.49.
NAPIER PARK RACES. NAPIER, This Day. The Napier Park races were coanmenced to-day in perfect weather: — Results:— Omarnui Hurdles—Comical 1, Buckeye 2, Demagogue 3. Scr —Waioeka Jack, Suspicion. Bonny Rill fell* Time, 3.10 2-5. r Esk Hack Handicap—Huikai 1, Archeen 2, Tutankhamen 3. Scr— Serene, Stymie, Princess Nata. Won by a neck, a length and a-half between second and third, lime, 2. 13 3-5.
Napier Cup-—Tresham 1, Theic 2, Dissertion 3. Won by a length, a neck between second and third. Time, 2.5 4-5 Sapling Stakes —Ivaiti 1, Berintliia 2, Shirley 3. Won by a. head), a length tween second and third. Time-, 60 2-o.
