MELBOURNE YOUTH KILLED

SIX OTHER OCCUPANTS HURT.

The car is said to have been travelling at a fast rate when a tyre blew out. The vehicle overturned, pinning the men beneath it. Patrick Hegany, aged 19, was killed. Herbert Guest and Sydney Laggart were admitted to the hospital in a serious condition. The others are suffering minor injuries and shock. The driver of the car was missing when the ambulance arrived. He was found later in a dazed condition wandering about Newmarket.
