The Gisborne Racing Club’s meeting was concluded in fine weather. 1 totalisator investments ivei.e compared with £9668 on . the> con espending day last year, making £29 14J for the meeting, against £19,343 last year. Results: Hurdle Handicap, of 150 sovs; one mile and a half—Hyrax 1, Jovial 2, Birka 3. Won by two lengths, lime, 2min 53sec.

Maiden Hack Handicap, of 110 sovs; five furlongs—Merchant 1, Sound 2, Watin Bell 3. Won by half a length. Time, lmin ssec. Waikanae Handicap, of 165 sovs; one mile—Scotch Mixture 1, Civdfoim 2. Barrier 3. Necks separated the placed horses. Time, lmin 46 2-ssec.

Hack Handicap, of 130 sovs; seven furlongs—Many Colours 1, Kilvoo_ » 2, Manu Pango 3. Won by a head. Time, lmin 32 2-osec.
