The steamer Kooringa belonging to the Mcllwraith, McEacham line, nas been .idled in Melbourne as the result of the action of the Seamen's Union. When the Komura., of the same line, reaches her home port, Melbourne, she will also be rendered idle, as there is trouble aboard owing to a dispute over a minor injury to a fireman. The fears concerning the Hobson's Bay proved groundless. The vessel signed on a new crew ivithout difficulty.

THE TRAMWAY STRIKE. (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Tramway Board, after a long discussion with the Trades Half Disputes Committee and other representatives of the men, refused to reinstate the gripman involved, and the strike remains unsettled.
