METHVEN BRANCH. The monthly meeting of the Methvea branch of die Royal New Zealand Society for the Health of Women and Children was held on Thursday, Ju y 19, in the A. and P. Hall. Piesent. Mrs W. Dixon (president), > Mesdames McKee, Baxter, Haden, Sparrow, and Battson. Apologies were received from Mesdames Bremer, Reid, Pawson, and Stone. „ , . . Battson for fittings, fixing, and ease. , It was resolved to hold a children s fancy dress ball. It"was arranged that a general meeting be held at a later date to form a committee and to make all necessary arrangements, when all interested will he invited to attend.
