The following forecast was issued:— The indications are for variable and strong breezes, but easterly moderate to strong prevailing, freshening and veering by east to south. Expect warm and humid conditions. The weather appears to be cloudy and unsettled, with rain following. Barometer falling, but rising after about 10 hours.
