N.Z. ASSOCIATION TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA. WELLINGTON, Januai’y 30. Soccer enthusiasts will be interested to learn that an invitation from Australia to send a representative team from New Zealand to the Commonwealth this year has been accepted, and the team will probably go over in June next. The visit of the Australians last year did an immense amount of good for the game throughout the Dominion, and, as there is a similar indication of enthusiasm for the round ball game in Australia, the New Zealand Council is desirous of helping all if can to forward the interests of the code in the Commonwealth. The team will be in the strictest sense an amateur one.
