A crisis has arisen on the eve of the assembling of the Reichstag owing to Herr Wirth disagreeing with Herr Stiunes, the Finance Minister, regarding the proposed taxes. Hermes, who belongs to the Right Wing of Centreists, insists on postponing the compulsory loan until next year. The quarrel is likely to break up the Coalition.
