OBITUARY.
THE EARL OF DUCIE. (Pel* Press Association, Copyright.) LONDON, October 28. The death is announced of the Earl of Ducie, who was the "father" of the House of Lords. His heir is the Hon. B. B. Moreton, a brother, a member of the Queensland Upper House. [Henry John Moreton, P.C., D.L., F.R.S., G.C.V.Of, third Earl of Ducie, was born m June, 1827. He was LordLieutenant of Gloucestershire 1857---1911, M.P. for Stroud 1852-53, Captain of the Yeoman of the Guard 1859-66, and Lord Warden of the Staunories 1888-1908. His only son, Lord Moreton, died a few months ago.]
