MATCH AGAINST NATAL. (Per Presß Association, Copyright.) CAPETOWN, October 29. ' At Durban, playing against Natal, Australia m the first innings made 212 (Collins 101, Gregory 55). Nourse took two wickets for 23 runs and Carter four for 4. Heavy rain on the previous day caused the postponement of the commencement of play till 2.15, when Natal sent the visitors m. After the first wicket went down the batsmen batted for runs, nobody staying m long with Collins. The wicket was .very wet. It was good bowling and sound fielding that ( dismissed Australia for considerably less than the first-wicket parnership of 105 suggested likely. A feature of the game was Carter's fine . bowling. He maintained a splendid I length, varying his pace throughout.
