HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
The principal picture m the new ', programme at His Majesty's Theatre i .to-night, " A Damsel m Distress," j furnishes real entertainment of the ■ light, breezy order. The feature, directed by Albert Capellani, stars the .always-popular players June Caprice and Creighton Hale, supported by a prominent cast. The story revolves around the caprices of a young girl who leads her family a dance over her loye affairs, and wnen she receives a letter from an old college sweetheart to go to New York she does so. But there her big brother catches sight of her, and she jumps into the nearest taxi, which happens to be occupied by a young playwright. He helps the "damsel m distress" to escape back home,^ and the comedy mounts m one situation after another till romance has its way. The leading feature will be supported by "The Sandman," a laughable comedy, topical budgets, and animated cartoons. The varied nature of the programme should make a strong appeal to all picture-lovers.
